As artists send in their contributions to The Things We Hold In Our Hands Participatory Project, I am blown away by the generosity of the makers every time I unwrap an object. I wonder how they bear to part with these objects which have taken so much care to make. The sense of connection is great; as my hands and eyes explore what has been made and gifted: I am touched emotionally, as I touch physically.
